How Can We Help?

Find quick answers about certification, responsible breeding, health exams, and how the CaniPrime platform works.

CaniPrime certification is an institutional verification process that evaluates purebred dog breeders in compliance with FCI standards and current health legislation. The process includes document analysis, on-site facility inspection, technical validation of dogs, and continuous monitoring. Certification is renewed annually.

Requirements include: active CBKC/FCI registration, complete and up-to-date health documentation, genetic testing of breeding dogs, adequate breeding facilities, current vaccination records, and compliance with municipal and state animal breeding legislation. Each certification level (Bronze, Silver, Gold) has additional specific requirements.

The complete certification process takes an average of 30 to 45 business days, from document submission to certificate issuance. Document analysis takes about 10 days, on-site inspection is scheduled within 15 days, and final technical validation takes another 5 to 10 days. Cases requiring adjustments may take longer.

Use the Advanced Search tool available in the main menu. You can filter by breed, location, certification level, and breeder experience. All listed breeders have undergone CaniPrime's institutional verification process and have validated documentation.

CaniPrime certified breeders have undergone rigorous verification including on-site facility inspection, genetic exam validation, document compliance, and continuous monitoring. This ensures they follow ethical breeding practices, prioritize genetic health and animal welfare, and maintain full transparency about their dogs and litters.

Yes, we encourage in-person visits. CaniPrime certified breeders commit to receiving potential guardians at their facilities. You can schedule a visit directly through the breeder's profile on the platform. The visit allows you to see breeding conditions, meet the breeding dogs, and personally verify the environment.

Required exams include: hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, ophthalmologic exams, cardiac exam, and breed-specific genetic tests (such as PRA, ichthyosis, among others). All exams must be performed by accredited laboratories, and reports are verified by CaniPrime's technical team.

All health exams for dogs registered on the platform are available on each animal's individual profile. Access the dog's profile to view dysplasia reports, genetic tests, cardiac and ophthalmologic exams. Original documents can be downloaded in PDF format directly from the platform.

Yes. CaniPrime only accepts exams performed by internationally accredited and recognized laboratories. Each report undergoes technical verification before being published on the platform. Partner laboratories follow rigorous quality control protocols and are periodically audited.

Yes, browsing certified breeders, viewing dog profiles, and accessing basic information are completely free for the public. Breeders pay an annual certification and maintenance fee that covers verification, inspection, and continuous monitoring costs.

A pedigree is the official genealogical registration document of a purebred dog, issued by recognized cynological entities (such as CBKC/FCI). It proves the animal's lineage across several generations, ensuring breed purity and allowing genetic history tracking. It is essential for responsible breeding and prevention of hereditary diseases.

CaniPrime provides a complete family tree of up to 4 generations (parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents) with verified FCI registration. Each listed ancestor includes information about titles, health exams performed, and conformation results when available.

On the CaniPrime platform, all pedigrees are verified directly with issuing entities (CBKC/FCI). Each registration has a unique identification number that can be consulted. Our technical team validates document authenticity during the breeder certification process.
